This plan is authorized by the Solomon Central Provincial Government and can be used for private development of islands. From 2021, 10 high-quality natural forest islands can be selected, and reasonable tourism and vacation oxygen bar development can be carried out first, covering an area of about 218 hectares, located within only 15 kilometers from the provincial capital.
The owner of the island enjoys a 70-year lease and use rights, which can be extended upon expiration; if permanent property rights are required, additional fees and administrative procedures can be changed.
